I have had the privilege to work closely with Erik Swendsen for the past year on numerous projects.  Erik’s ability to decipher the big picture allows him to be successful and to deliver what is desired even when a deliverable is vague or not fully envisioned.  His incredible attention to detail is priceless; he continually catches errors, optimizes designs, and manages upward.  I highly recommend that Erik for any graphic designing role, and I am confident that he will be very successful throughout his career.

Erik and I have worked together to design and launch product lines that break the mold of the core business model at our company which is a very traditional, risk averse company, and the artwork associated with our products can sometimes reflect that.  With a recent product launch, the business wanted something that appeared innovative, eye catching, and unlike anything anyone had seen before.  With only that guidance to work from, Erik delivered what was selected to be the final design in one try.  I have worked with many designers, and I am often frustrated by the fact that they may need constant supervision and direction.   I know that Erik will work hard to understand the product that I am launching, the technology involved, and the benefits to the customer so that he can deliver a design that captures the imagination and directs it where it is designed to go.

Erik also has great attention to detail.  There is virtually no need to double check his work once he learns a function, process, or need.  Even when asked to do repetitive tasks, he gives care and thought to the end product that he produces.!
